Prof. Shlomo Berliner

Dr. Shlomo Berliner is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine at the Tel Aviv University. He is board certified in internal medicine and a professor of internal medicine at the Tel-Aviv Sackler Faculty of Medicine.

He is currently the head of the Department of Internal Medicine "E" at the Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Dr. Berliner has a Ph.D. in cell biology and is involved in research in several medical specialties, including atherosclerosis, thrombosis and low-grade inflammation.

Dr. Berliner was trained in blood coagulation physiology at the Scrips Clinic in San Diego, California. He has published more than 270 scientific articles in various medical fields, including his main medical interest, atherothromboinflammation.
